We’re thrilled to share that Eco Abrolhos Cruises was featured on Channel 9’s Our State on a Plate last weekend— Episode 8 (26 October 2025) — hosted by Trevor Cochrane and filmed among the breathtaking Abrolhos Islands off the coast of Geraldton, Western Australia.

In this special segment, Trevor joined our crew aboard Eco Abrolhos to experience life on one of WA’s most unique small-ship adventures. The episode captured the essence of our cruises — combining incredible scenery, fascinating history, and the freshest local seafood prepared by our onboard chef.

Viewers were taken on a journey through the coral lagoons, seabird colonies, and historic islands that make the Abrolhos so extraordinary. Trevor also explored our Ocean-to-Plate dining experience, where Western Rock Lobster and fresh fish caught straight from the surrounding waters are transformed into gourmet meals enjoyed on deck.

The feature also revisited one of Australia’s most captivating maritime tales — the Batavia shipwreck of 1629 — a story that still echoes through the islands we explore on every voyage.
